We provide a full spectrum dental care for you and your entire family at our locations in: Beaver Dam, Fredonia, Safford, and Chilchinbeto. Canyonlands strives to use the latest in oral health technology including digital x-rays and paperless dental records.
We not only feature preventive care, but also offer care for a variety of dental needs.
Services we provide include: emergencies, preventive, restorative, extractions, crowns, bridges, dentures, and periodontal (gum disease) care. In addition, our dentists provide children's dentistry, oral surgery services (extractions, some wisdom teeth), and some endodontic services (root canals).
We offer care to all patients and accept most insurances including AHCCCS. We also offer a reduced payment program for self-pay patients based on household income and family size.
Dental Providers
Dr. James Doll, Dental Director
James attended Brigham Young University and graduation in May 2005 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in German. He then attended AT Still University – School of Health Management graduating in 2008 with a Certificate in Dental Public Health. In 2009 he graduated from Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health with a Doctor of Dental Medicine. He completed his dental rotation at Salt Lake City Community Health Centers, Inc, Salt Lake City, Utah; Community External Outreach of Arizona, Mesa Arizona; Central Arizona Shelter Society Dental Clinic, Phoenix, Arizona; VA Medical Center Dental Clinic, Phoenix, AZ; and Choptank Community Health Centers, Federalsburg, Maryland. James received his certification through the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners. James joined the dental staff at Canyonlands-Beaver Dam in July 2009.

Dr. James Millward
James attended Weber State University, in Ogden, Utah, graduating in 1994 with integrated studies. He majored in Microbiology, Zoology and Chemistry. He graduated with honors in 1998 from the Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry. James started and ran his own successful private practice for 10 years. He is also the founder and owner of Dental Essentials School of Dental Assisting. James is licensed by the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners. In June 2010, James joined the Canyonlands staff in Fredonia, Arizona.

Dr. Matthew Kelly
Dr. Kelly attended the Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, graduation in 2011 receiving a Doctorate if Medical Dentistry. Previously he attended Southern Utah University and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Zoology. Dr. Kelly recently moved to Page and joined the staff of Canyonlands in August of 2011. He is providing Dental services at the Chilchinbeto Clinic and also providing dental screening at Page Unified School District. |

Dr. Benjamin Gardea, Jr.
Benjamin attended the New Jersey Dental School receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine in May 2010 where he went on to El Rio Community Health Center to continue his residency. He completed his residency in June 2011. Benjamin returned to Arizona and received his license from the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners in August 2010. Benjamin relocated to Safford, Arizona and joined the staff at Canyonlands in July 2011. |
