     Page Hospital

Page Hospital, a 25-bed facility located in the northern part of Arizona, is renown for its patient focused care.  Constructed to inspire a true healing environment, Page Hospital is one of Banner Health Systems' most beautiful hospitals.  Clinical services include Acute Care, Obstetrics, Surgery, Radiology, Cardiopulmonary, Respiratory Therapy, Emergency Center, and an Outpatient Service including Visiting Specialists.

Page Hospital is a leader within the Banner System as Arizona's first hospital to join the Planetree Alliance, an international network of hospitals that practice a truly patient-centered and community-focused approach to care.  We have created a unique healing environment that involves family members in creating a more comforting atmosphere for our patients.  Here are a few examples of the ways this has been accomplished:

  • Patient rooms are spacious with amenities to create more of a home-like environment.

  • Separate kitchen facilities and a special family dining area allow a patient's loved ones to cook favorite recipes or share a meal to lessen the stress that can be associates with a hospital stay.

  • Open visiting hours encourage the family members to become part of the caregiver team.

  • The staff is committed to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of their patients.

  • A Dog Therapy program made up of several certified dogs accompanied by a trained dog handler visits patients.  The value of Dog Therapy in promoting healing is becoming increasingly recognized among professional healthcare providers.  Time and again, our four-footed "therapists" have elicited nearly miraculous responses from lonely, severely ill, or physically traumatized hospital patients.  The dogs have a calming, motivating, and healing effect on patients, and bring a bit of "home" into their lives while hospitalized.

  • Patios, spacious landscaped gardens, a walking path, and rest areas connect patients and families with the beauty of Page.  The same views of Lake Powell and Glen Canyon that help millions of visitors relax each year can have the same calming effect for patients and their family members.
Page Hospital serves the health needs of residents from local communities and the surrounding Navajo reservation, as well as 3.5 million visitors to the region of northern Arizona and southern Utah.  Located on the southern shores of beautiful Lake Powell, Page is a small community of approximately 9,000 residents.  Tourism is the major industry.
